if it does anything liek what it did for my fujitsubu it will be nice sublte more tuned sound and little louder but will be the same scorpion sound .

blitz nur spect wont be that loud its got a huge back box like the nismo iirc

I'm sure the engine cover saves at least 10grams vs the plastic one least that's what I'm telling myself . Bad carbon magpie , don't buy shiney black stuff

cheapest options is a cheap Y pipe or get one wiht the exhaust and some berk cats , berks about £450 new but i tihnk Zmanalex may still have a set used .

Y pipe will make a small change if thats what your after , as i said above the bits all add up. you could get the y pipe then if yous till want more get a new exhaust the Y pipe wont be wasted as alot dont come with one.

From my experience of oem to quiet y back Exhaust , adding y pipe and now some berk cats I'd say unless your the really loud exhaust type I'd go with one if the quieter exhausts as others gave mentioned to start with . If it's not enough add HFCs they make quite a big change. My fujitsubo was quiet then lil growly and now quite racey so all the bits add up.

get some high flow cats , wont be as quiet as stock cats but will be quieter than de cats.

hate you even more ! volks gts another awsome rim , by bronze do you mean a rather dark almost brown colour ? never seen bronze on a car in the metal.

varis front , chargespeed rear (my fave by miles) , v2 wing , not sure what wheels they are but look simalar to te37/roat grid very nice.

Looking at some new rims and dont normally got for these not so common colours but kinda fancy the idea of either some gold or bronze gtrs . bronze as its not quite black and gold as ive seen some nice gold rims on blue scoobs.

so post em if you got em !

lol funnyest tihng my guage has done is actaully go up ! and i dont mean the dte but the actaul needle moved up , seriously though as the other have all said the dte is rally dt nearly empty , filled up today after 430 miles didnt even get 70 litre sin and it said i had 30 miles or about 1 gallon left , gauge lies alot !

bascially most zorst will fit although i couldnt get my oem backbox in the boot wiht my sub yet the fujitsubo was no probs !

if the headunit is off thent he amp should be off too , static fromt he speakers is a little odd it imply the headunit or somtihn else is powering up the amp , i assume you hjae the bose ?

Can somebody tell me just why its an engine strip to replace the cams?, certainly doesn't look like it in my manual.

 

A complete engine strip is not required to replace the cams but best to remove the engine to do the job.

 

Heads have to come off as well as the complete front end, so easier with the engine out and if you are stripped that far, then you are just as well pulling the pistons and crank and doing a refresh.

Heads off ? surly not, AFAIKS its just the front covers to get at the timing chains,sprockets etc, and just cam bearing caps etc, otherwise it would mean head of in order to replace lifter buckets, should the clearances need attention.

yep it is head off irrc when mine was done .

interested in the rota's but id want to keep my rear tyres as your sizes are well out !
