The first batch of a few bits that I no longer have any need for:
1. Pair of Performance Friction (PF) front discs (rotors) for Brembo callipers. Unused and still in their boxes. Widely regarded by those in the know (Alex etc.) as one of the best discs on the market and a quality bit of kit. These go for £600 new, I'd like £550 for them. Collection (Swindon area) is preferable, but I can look at shipping if required. SOLD!
2. Pair of Ferodo DS2500 front pads for brembo callipers. Unused and in sealed box. Would perfectly complement the above so might be able to do a deal on both! These currently go for about £120, I'd like £95 inc P&P.
3. Pair of EBC Ultimax grooved rear discs for non-Brembo callipers. These have been used for around 100 miles only, just about enough to remove the black coating but not to cause any real wear at all. A result of a bit of an eBay **** up, £50 the pair . Again I'd prefer collection but can look at shipping if required. SOLD!
Please feel free to post questions if I've missed any details. As somewhat of a health warning I'm currently away from home a lot so if you need anything in a hurry please make it clear and I'll try and accommodate you. If there is likely to be any sort of delay I'll let you know and won't take any payment until the kit is literally ready to ship.
Coming soon - various unused parts from my abandoned SC project, including Mocal cooler and sandwich plate, oil temp gauge and also a set of 4 20mm spacers, provided I can source a couple of replacement bolts!

Thanks Alex!
I reckon mine counts as a half decent home, PM sent!

Don't know how I managed it (most likely something to do with my size 12s) but I've managed to snap the little plastic clip that stops the driver's mat from sliding around.
Can provide a pic if that would help, but essentially it's the small bit of plastic that attaches underneath the seat and hooks into the hole to the rear of the mat.
Anyone have one lying around?

Actual reviews of Kinetix brakes kit don't seem to crop up either here or on the US forums.
Take from that what you will. I've had no problems with their sports cats, but from Alex's experience would go nowhere near suspension parts.
-
Drop links are usually a creak rather than a knock.
Is your suspension all oem?
-
As discussed Paul, I'd be interested in the rear K-Sports if anyone just wants the fronts.
Anyone?
-
As above, atleast a week
I know of a HKS kit for sale
Seen mate. Seen.
Am going to have a bit of a tactical pause before deciding on my next move!

Anyone know how long it should take for a bank transfer from the US to the UK?
Currently waiting on a refund from Adam after my SC plans fell through and want to know when I can expect to see it hit my account!
That can take a while... took me 5 days to get funds confirmed from EIRE to Japan... have you got it confirmed that it went onto your account and proof (reciept of the same?)
paypal is far better for these things, what happened to your SC plans?
A
We tried going down the PayPal route and that didn't work. Don't have the receipt details, I've asked Adam for the transaction number so that I can chase it up this end, once I've got it I just wanted to know when I could start pestering the bank!
Had a few dramas getting hold of all the correct parts for the project from his suppliers. It got to the stage where it was taking far too long (several months in the end) so we decided to pull the plug.

Just to clarify, did this come from Alex?
Only the link you have posted goes to Rik's website, as far as I can tell.

PM sent ref fronts.

Front and back wheels.

Think the Garmin one doesn't work due to the level of output - can hear it when making a call, but only barely. Does this mean I need a special kind of mic?
-
Thanks!
So far I know that it's a 3.5mm jack and that the Garmin mic doesn't work!

I've knackered the hands free microphone from my Alpine HU. The price for a replacement through official channels is a bit , so I was wondering if anyone had one they weren't using available for a more reasonable sum!
Thanks!

Dont enterprise deliver vehicles for you? Go in on the weekend and order it to be delivered.
I'll have a look at that. Thanks!

Slightly random one!
Does anyone know of a way to get hold of a van outside of office hours (say about 7pm), required for a couple of days. All the regular places shut up shop at about 5.30pm and don't offer this kind of service it would appear. Needs to be in or around Swindon.
Any thoughts?

Speak to CS, he's sorting me out a couple as they can order directly from Eibach.
Be prepared for a bit of a shock at the price of them though, particularly if you need 20!
-
surely not.... thats a hell of alot of info to store in a bussiness copiers lifetime.
It would appear so.
-
Digital photocopiers store everything they copy to a hard drive that often isn't wiped before the copier is sold on. Lots of potential for sensitive material to be leaked.
-
If you google 'urinal etiquette' you'll see that some people have gone into a fair bit of detail on the matter!
-
Links / worn bush.... And have you checked everything in the spare wheel compartment is secure?!
+1
Would be a bitch to start playing around with suspension bushes only to find your locking nut key is rattling about.

Any details on the engine rebuild?

nissan sells ipod adapters for the Z so it will plug straight into the bose head unit if this helps

Are you sure it's for the uk model?

Bump!
Anyone have a spare or know of a good source?
