Is the exhaust mild steel? As I have spoken to a garage about welding the pipe back to the box but they said it might not weld back up as its brittle Is this the case?

I am considering either a Japspeed K1 or K2 or Scorpion Which would you guys recommend? I heard a scorpion one on youtube sounded pretty good!

I want a nice sounding exhaust nothing deep sounding - is there any sound clips on diff exhaust available. I would say my budget is around £300-350

Considering im going on holiday in 2 weeks the cheaper option is sounding like the better choice - however if I do go for an aftermarket exhaust which one would you guys recommend?

Just come out from the gym and noticed my car sounded like I put an aftermarket exhaust box on! On inspection I noticed that the pipe has worn off and broken away from the box! Is this a common problem? What would you guys do A ) Try to get it fixed back on B ) Buy stock Nissan exhuast C ) Buy aftermarket - which seems to be the cheaper option!

Im confused!! Adding your missus made it cheaper? And also saying you park it on the street was cheaper than a locked garage???

My insurance renewal has literally doubled from last year with Direct Line - I was paying around 650 for the year now im struggling to find anything under £1000! The only company I found is Admiral for £800 but I used to be with them but left due to being an awful company! Any insurance companies you guys recommend?

Nissan quoted me £700 for the part alone, not including fittin Aparently its corroded and is about to to blow, think a silencer is going as well? Need to get the service report out - wierd how the MOT I had a couple days previous to the service did not pick this damage up? So a whole new after market exhaust system wont improve my bhp at all?? Not really worth it just for the sound!

Recently I seem to be getting a ticking noise at random times whilst driving around, it occurs most when im starting the car off from standstill - it seems to happen when I accelerate gently, could this be something to do with spark plugs? Anyone experienced this as well?

im in West Midlands. Do i actually need a spark plug change my car has done 44k and is three years old? Contact CS a trader on here. He will be able to sort you out spark plugs and fitting. I just had my P3 with him and had all fluids changed, belts and plugs. He will sort you out. yeah he has given me a good price, as I have an impending holiday and road tax in the next month I may have to wait and just do my service and then have them fitted afterwards.

FWIW, I just bought a set of Denso Iridium plugs from Opie for about £50. And you are talking 2 hours max to change them on their own. It takes two hours to change the spark plugs???

It's time for a service again I believe it's the big one this time, however my local Nissan are doing these special offer services at fixed priced so I can get a gold service for £299 but they advised me that it would not include the platinum spark plugs I advised to call me back with the price for fitting the plugs as well and she came back with £220 just to fit and provide the spark plugs!!! She taking the **** or what??? I'm sure I can buy the plugs for £20!

The alarm does work as I have accidently found out a few times by locking people inside my car and they moved around in the car setting the alarm off

No car was definatly locked - as was the neighbours. Did have some clothes stolen and so on but I don't know if its worth claiming due to the insurance premium will increase when I come to renue.

Last night my car was broken into without no signs of forced entry the alarm didnt go off and im 100% sure the car was locked. Anyone know how this could of happened where the alarm didnt go off - there seems to be a slight gap in the driver window seal but I don't know if that was there before - and if that was the way they broke into the car would the alarm not go off? Neighbour next door had his mercedes broken into and his alarm didnt go off as well and he is 100% sure he locked his car.
