  8. LOL bit of a bump I know but didnt want to start a new thread ... Didnt even realise how old it was myself until I looked there.
  9. Bumping this old thread up to ask what type of plate holder is used here? Also can you get plate holders as thin as this for rectangle shorter plates?
  10. I think a subtle stretch looks well, as some have pointed out something that crosses the safety line can look a bit extreme for our roads ... Too extreme ... lol Even for a dub boy
  11. Hell yea dude ... Good thing about Zeds I find is having them relatively stock they look great and running them wide and low also makes them look great so you cant lose. When I finally get mine Ill be going down the route of low and low offset staggered wheels with possibly some smoothing ... Can I ask what wheels youll be running on it TADDY?
  12. Stretched look is great ... Stretched look is a USDM and Dub facination that has caught on. I feel it helps maintain the look if your car is well stanced. Lowered properly on staggered dished wheels with a nice low offset. I had stretched tyres on my old 200sx and thought the whole look carried it off nicely without looking cheap or boy racer. Its personal preference at the end of the day.

    Wheels

Easy choice get Autosmart Smart Wheels ... Acid Free cleaner and by far the best ive ever used. Dilute to your own needs ... that bit neater to help remove caked brake dust.
  14. Bit pricey in my opinion. $1679.00 USD shipped to the UK. Price does not include taxes and duties The price in dollars I got was around $1490 not including taxes. cfoster - who did you get that price with ... id be up for getting two sets delivered if you fancied it ... see what price they would do it for?
  15. Excelllent to hear that mate, wasnt sure on the actual cost of them but worked out shipping would've been around $400ish if I organised it myself via a mate house in Florida and USPS. Is he on my350z.com as well? $1050 sounds wicked!! Will be going for zero offset though!! Thats £1050 pounds mate ... yes hes on there also. Nice guy. In regards to duty/import tax a friend of mine recently got a set imported from the states and said it wasnt to bad ... nothing like he expected. And id happily pay it for these wheels as its a bargin compared to similar wheels on the market.

    New Rims

Better pictures needed ... but they look good against the GM colour. Id say a tad lower on them and that would be a win!
  17. Ive been in talks with DTMAutobody a retailer in America thats selling these. He tells me that shipment to Northern Ireland/uk and Ireland is no problem. I loved these wheels and have great sizes and offsets in them. I got a qoute for 19's with 9" on the front and 10.5 on the rear with +12 all round (+22 doesnt clear brembos) and thats shipped with insurance for £1050. He tells me I might not need arch work but im unsure. Contact him on 350zmotoring, sound guy and has loads in stock in various colours for instant shipment. Good price and at least half the value of proper volks Could also someone explain to me how the tucked bumper loook is achieved. Thanks
  18. Thats impressive ... would hate to see what it cost him though!
  19. Should have changed my title to this thread ... lol
  20. Seeing as the good weathers coming (hope i havnt spoke to soon ) Thought id see what the Zed owners are using on their cars these days in terms of cleaning/washing/drying/waxing etc etc. Maybe give some new people some ideas in terms of what products get the best looks ... So basically list your products and even a recent picture of how your Zed has ended up by using them ... sorry if a repost but thought this might be a good resource for some people. My Hardware ... Valet Pro PH Neutral Snow Foam Valet Pro Detergent based foam (For wheel arches, wheels/tyres and underneath) Autobrite Snow Foam Lance Meguiars Last Touch Autosmart Trim Wizard (Great Stuff) Autosmart Smart Wheels Cleaner (Great Stuff) Clean your Car fluffy drying towel Eurow Shag Pile Double Density Towels (CleanYourCar) Meguiars Foam Applicator Pads Autosmart Microfibre Applicator Pads Zymol HD Cleanse 500ml FireGlaze Sealant Collinite 476s Halfords Pressure Washer Havnt got my Zed yet so will post a picture when I get one and get it cleaned up Although heres my old 200sx using the same gear: Chris
