  1. I have the same problem, drivers side...reset procedure wont cure it....that is to re-programme the motor if the window drops on its own. I havent tried cleaning the window motor yet but will give that a go....otherwise its a new motor
  2. i have 20mm Eibach huncentric spacers all round...allignment done last week at DMS...no issues at all
  3. Fitted the replacement top mounts...thanks again to Alex Mechanic told me that the front near side lower ball joint has worn too...guess i replace both sides? Common problem? Just as a note, amazed how different the car drives after replacing the front top mounts! Car has covered 50k miles, i've had it for 15 months and it drives better now than ever! Nowhere near as harsh on bumpy roads...esp being an early import. So anybody thinking of fitting lowering spring should look into replacing the mounts if you've got similar or more mileage. Ive got Tein springs
  4. Starting to wonder if this is the part i need... I fitted Tein springs last Saturday, on Monday i start getting a knocking noise from the front near side...sounds like something is loose ....the guys that set the car up (wheel alignment) Friday just passed tell me its the suspension top mount...car has covered 50k miles But one opinion already questions this...anybody else had this experience? Thanks
  5. I just bought a nav unit from an x-trail and swapped it over...works fine....didnt need to touch the screen
  6. Wanted! Standard front suspension top mounts. New or used but with low mileage covered please Thanks
  7. Oh forgot to say, i drive a JDM blade Coupe...B** CTM reg, few subtle mods...and a few more on the way
  8. I live in Bromley now, about 15 mins from Brands But my parents live down the road from the track, infact so close, they get free passes every year to say sorry for the noise
  9. think im paying too much too 22 years old (21 when i got it) 1 year no claims driving nearly 5 years no claims, speeding etc always insured in my parents name before the zed £1600...with my mum on there to bring it down
  10. Will do mate I live quite local but was going away Saturday night, but yesterday that turned into just a night out...ow well, will have to make the next one! Plus, the car is having some paintwork and dent removal work over the next month, along with fitting the lowering springs so not quite show standard yet anyway
  11. Ahh damn it, ill have to give it a miss then, no point getting up with a hangover to not get on the stand But i will come along later in the day....see you there!!
  12. am I too late for this? Bit worried about getting there by 9 cos I've got a big night out Saturday...
  13. I've got original rear lights to go....
  14. I got one of these too for my 21st, in silver, was incredible...will try and get a pic up! Had picked my car up earlier that day, 2 in 1 day!!
  15. Cheers Adam! Just what i wanted to hear re. the springs I might have to look into that then...mine has 50k miles...some of which are kms so about 45k miles...and ofcorse being an earlier jap car, has the firmer struts at mom
  16. Adam, ive got a 2003/52 JDM coupe...running the Bridgstone re040's standard sizes, standard 18's and 20mm Eibach Spacers all round. I bought some Tien "S" springs (lower drop i believe?) and having them fitted soon...unless you recommend not to...!!
  17. I done this last year and again last month! Superb day out, all the cars/events are fantastic and the corporate facilities are spot on! You will enjoy it....also, this year they have added cameras to the Single seater Palmer Jaguar and the 2 seater LeMans cars.... They give you a USB memory stick to take home, watching it is exactly like watching F1....amazing! Enjoy
  18. mmm interesting, not whati was told by alex when i spoke to him about this a few months ago...
  19. Thanks for the advice Rob, was thinking the same re. that panel with the glove box! I will start in the boot and go from there...it doesnt need to be done in a rush so will just take my time and do one panel at a time. Iv seen it advertised for £60 plus p/m but thats for new stock, as i said this stuff on ebay is new old stock, think i'll give it a go for under £200 for genuine material Will post pics once its done
  20. Think i'll pass on the shag pile for now Spoke to the guy last night, he re covers motorbike seats and buys rolls of material all the time, this was offered to him. Its new/old stock. Brand new genuine stuff in the bags, but made about 10 years ago. He can cut me 10 metres, by roll width (1.33m) and inc postage its less than £200...sounds good...but do you think 10 metres will be enough? Should go a fair way
  21. so if this stuff on eBay, above, is genuine as it says...then it's cheap!
  22. sounds good, i will do the boot space myself and see how that goes but im pretty confident I may even have the centres of both seats covered proffesionally in alcantara, as i dont really like the perforated leather and ive scratched both mine with belts etc... The stuff on Ebay looks cheap...i was told the genuine stuff retails at over £60 per metre!
