  1. Bugger! Is it too late to add me? Last time I checked I was sure the deadline was the 15th?
  2. I've never used mine, I don't even own any tapes, and the ones I had as a kid have either gotten chucked or they're hiding somewhere like in my parents attic or something lol. I remember when I first bought the zed in January that it was a bit odd to have a tape deck in a 2004 car, but hey it still has the tuner and 6cd changer, so I'm happy.
  3. I'd go in low, like 11k and take it from there, you might even get it for under 11.5k.
  4. Does this piece fit the standard bumper grille in the airdam? My zed is a nismo version, so the part has nowhere to fit on the nismo front bumper, so I dont have any use for it. Don't know what it was doing in my glove box though
  5. Ah I see, I cant see where it would fit, my zed is a factory nismo version so I'm assuming it probably wouldn't fit anywhere on the front bumper, so must be a part from a standard bumper? Which also begs the question... ... what is it doing there?
  6. I found this plastic thing in my glove box a few days ago, it looks like a piece of trim from somewhere? Any ideas?
  7. Well played on the new zed, and a couple of unexpected bonuses there too, that'll sound awesome at full chat. Lucky you. Thats well over a grand worth of mods
  8. As said there are very few issues, but aim to the top of your budget, in this current climate there could be bargains to be had.
  9. I had a set of wheels refurbed last year at a cost of £211.50 to be exact, and they were mullered!
  10. I still wear Airwalks to this day, I might cut the soles off and screw them to the leading edge of the skirts
  11. I thought of using griptape but I reckon that'll look tatty and worn after a while.
  12. Yeah Renagade they won't fit the nismo skirts, also that end isn't the problem area, it's the front edge of the skirts and the front edge of the spats, those spash guards go to the rear of the skirt. M13KYF you're onto something there fellar thanks for the tip, so what I'm going to do is prep, mask and blow them in, then apply some clear protective film when the paint goes off, also turns out that a local auto graphics shop stocks it Next weekend is a four day one (woohoo), so I'll get the gear this week and do it then.
  13. I'm getting stone chip wear on the front inside end (in the wheel arch) of my sideskirts and rear spats, it's starting to look really bad as much of the paint has just been chipped away, I'm going to have a can mixed up at my local paint shop suppliers, prep, mask them up and blow them in. Got me wondering, is there such a 'screw on' guard that I can buy to stop this from happening again which it inevitably will? Has anyone else had this problem and dealt with it, I'd be interested in your solutions if any?
  14. I believe the ONLY mod you can do without changing the ECU is fit a plenum spacer. Decats, exhausts or filters etc will see no gains.
  15. Good location, nice pics, nice colour
  16. While I can appreciate the amount of money time and effort that has gone into it, it's just not a Zed anymore.
  17. While you're waiting for your tax disc you could be taking a few pics of your new zed and getting them up here
  18. Cheers fellars, to answer ARphotographs No I didn't take them, a photographer from a regional Jap car club held the photoshoot, his lenses were about a foot long, it was something about building a portfolio so it was free . 3FIDDYZ, I just gave the car a quick shampoo and rinse down that morning, I havn't polished or waxed the car yet in the 2 months I've owned it, I think if I get a fine day this weekend I might polish her and get a coat of wax on there, I use Autoglym Super Resin polish and Maguires Gold Class wax to finish, perfect results every time Thanks for the comments guys
  19. ....and I know how you guys like pics so here we are......
  20. Oooch, theres nothing worse.
  21. Yeah you cant really launch at high revs at the pod, theres more rubber on that tarmac than tarmac, very slippy. Get your times up anyhoo dude!
