Nah, just wanted to get home the same day!
LOL no that deffo was it for the day Paul!Immense job mate. Was that a days work or were you off somewhere else after?I did wonder! With you saying you were trying to claw some time back I thought you we're trying to squeeze another in!
Thanks Will, it sure did.Impressive "little" job there, bet that took some effort -
5 of the little treasures DaveDoes the guy have children or does he own a Zoo? -

I'm trying to do a bit of catch up on the write ups as the camera is literally rammed but struggling to get time to do them so here is one from a few weeks back. Hope you like it!
This lil beauty belongs to a customer of mine who emigrated to Oz, but has decided to return to us and I'm glad to resume doing business with him.
He has a big family and as such, the family car is BIG too......this was a real challenge and the interior took as long as the outside!
Suncream hands needed to be removed, and also there were other areas I had to machine with my Flex polisher.
Great place to work
Wheels were attacked with AS Smart wheels, Envy Brushes and a Vikan NSWB. Bubbly Jubbly SSF (2 goes this time!)
There was a LOT of tar so used Espuma TGB to make light work of it.
Clayed with Chemical Guys blue clay, then onto the hands....Before a machine with FCP (normally I'd use Dodo Lime Prime but it didnt make a dent on these!)
After
Onto the interior, brace yourselves! A lot of Henry, a lot of APC and a lot of leather wipes and Dasheen got the job done eventually.
The car was treated to Werkstatt Prime by the PC, followed by 2 coats of Jett to try to claw some time back on my day.
Tyres dressed with RD50, glass with Crystal green.
So its not all Ferrari's etc lol, and we're not afraid of a challenge!
Best wishes and thanks for looking

Hi Hassan,
Not really sure about Sealey machines tbh. They certainly are not a product used much in the trade, so I cant say if thats with good reason (ie could be good/bad whatever!).
I looked at the ER1700P as its mentioned above and it says 50% lighter etc but doesnt tell you the weight!
My rotary polisher (Metabo) is one of the lighter ones on the market but after 10hrs of wrestling with it on a car I know it still feels damn heavy and you end up with arms like a gorilla.
DA machines seem to be a bit lighter but they have a different feel and the vibrations take their toll too.
The ER230P, CP2518, ER1512P or the 150P...forget it or if you do buy one dont tell anyone or let it be seen in public! They will deffo not be up to the job.
Warranty will be important. My Metabo has a 3yr XXL warranty and I so far have had 2 replacement machines with no quibble at all. The 1st machine died at 2.5yrs old and had HEAVY use, the second was last month and it'd lasted 1.5yrs with a lot less use.
Personally I feel you might be better putting your money into another brand such as Kestrel, or the Dodo Juice machines. You'll struggle to find a G220 right now as they are bringing out V2 very soon and there is no more re-stocking in the UK of the old V1 machines. V2 is going to be a lot more money!
Best wishes

Wow=new car!
Thats some transformation Paul! What did your mates Dad think?
How did you get on with snow foam?
-
^or maybe Envy Valeting who have had a group buy running for eternity on here
The detergent bottles will only give you a soapy dishwater effect, yes it will still clean the car but you wont get the shaving foam effect.

True Stew. 1 bloke on DW said "I had one of those in white" lol errr no you didnt22Bs are awesome!I remember a friend of mine (RIP
) boyfriend got a brand spanking 22B for his 18th. He usedd to pick her up from School in it! This replaced his MacRae edition which was his first car.
I always loved it.
Just a shame the uneducated wouldn't know it was special!
For those that are interested here's a bit about the import version of the car:)

A special one for me to do! I used to have one myself back in the day so it was a real treat and a trip back down memory lane for me. Been looking forward to this for a long time:thumb:
The victim before:
Door shuts pre-sprayed with Espuma G202 APC, fuel filler area, around the boot area and wheels sprayed with Espuma Revolution at 10:1.
Time for a nice covering of Espuma Activo.
Wheels cleaned with Envy brushes, vikan new soft wheel brush and Espuma Revolution.
Snow foam rinsed off at high pressure, door shuts and crevices cleaned out. Washed with the two bucket method, grit guards, Espuma Astro shampoo and a trusty Z sponge!
Espuma TGB to de-tar the panels..
Clayed with plain water as lube and Chemical Guys blue clay. Most effective, and necessary as you can see!!
Pre-wax cleanser was Swissvax CF normal via DA on a Meguiars polishing pad.
Wax of choice today SWissvax BOS
Left to cure for as long as it took me to hoover and clean the interior!
Tailpipe was given the wirewool and Autosol treatment.
Tyres dressed with Espuma RD50, glass with Espuma glass green, plastics with 303.
Enjoy the afters:thumb:
Thanks for looking.

They're called Machine sticks and i think its partly because designed to be applied/used by machine polishers.
I prefer to wax by hand myself so have not tried it.

Morning all.
A quick apology for the lack of write ups
Its all been a bit hectic for Envy.
Here are a few brief details of some recent jobs we've done.
Evo protection detail, protected with Dodo Juice Supernatural.
ML protection detail, going back to the dealer as at the end of the lease. Quick once over with AS Platinum and polished some "go faster stripes out" too
Jaguar X type pre-sale detail for my step mum, Werkstatt products used.
Prepping some cars for a show, got to clean, aqua wax and put on display. There were others too but the camera went flat
Fell in love with this one! The sound was something else and a real skill to drive it.
Fiat 500 Abarth 2 day correction detail and inside clean up. Waxed with a vintage wax.
Thanks for looking and "thats all folks" for now.

I'm still having problems getting logged in, taken 2 days now. Had to delete all saved info etc which is a real hassle with the online banking data!!
Is there any reason why I can only log in if I delete all that info?
