I also recently did this on my zed...the only thing to be careful of is taking out the pins...when I did this the spring undernearth alomost took my eye out!

I did it myself...didnt take that long...youll need some plastic primer, your colour (matte black maybe) and a sealer or a laquer to go on top. I would advise gettings a spare set as you can work on them and use the car at the same time I sanded mine down, sprayed with primer then wet standed the primer to make sure its all smooth, re-primered and sanded again then painted.

I have heard of Rota's cracking when they are baked during the powder coating process. It might be worth dropping Sarah a pm she might be able to help as she was apart of Envy.

I looked at the RS4 Cab aswell on the wekend....I thought they were great cars but just didnt do it for me aswell. I am stuck between an E90 M5 and SL55 AMG...both great cars in their own right and hav more then enough power to keep me happy on my weekend blasts. Best of luck choosing a new motor

Thanks guys....guess I wont be using that body shop again! My zed is quite low and maybe having a FG front end isnt the best idea. I did have the badge smoothed out which has made the middle of the bumper fairly rigid and left the sides where thee cracks are with some flex...I assume thats probably contributed to the problem aswell. I will have to find someone better to repaint the front end when it goes back to the body shop.

Hi Guys, I have a Shine V2 front bumper on my zed, it was painted a few months ago by a decent body shop but after a few weeks I started noticing small cracks in the body work. Now I know the Shine bumper is made from FG but I wouldnt expect it to break up so quickly...this might have something to do with my zed being quite low to the floor. Is there a special primer that I can get which will stop this from happening? Someone suggesting a flexible plastic primer. Thoughts?

Hi All, I am starting to strip down a few parts of the car and shift a few bits ive got sitting about in the garage. I am intending to change the car in the next few months so want to shift a few bits that have been sitting in my garage: 1. Lamin-X Headlight covers. These are the best tinting film you can get for headlights and cost me £40 ex postage and import tax from the US! They are made from laminate and are much harder wearing then normal tint film. They are a light smoke and shouldnt reduce output on headlights too much. These were brought for a facelift headlight but dont see why they wouldnt fit pre-facelift £40 posted 2. CF Front Slam Panel Brought this off another member a while back, needs abit of a clean but in good condition overall. There is 1 small (1.5 inch) gash in it but its not noticable. £35 posted 3. The electric retactable number plate, I got this as part of a group buy on here and its a great piece of bit but ive jsut never got round to fitting it! I want exactly what I paid for it £110 posted as its never been fitted and theres only a handful of these in the uk. SOLD 4. Eibach Camber and Toe Adjustment Kit - I brought these from Sarah (Chilli Red) for my zed but never got round to fitting them, they cost me £160. My HKS Coilovers will also be up for sale soon so could do a combo deal with these and the coilovers £150 posted. 5. My Nismo CAI, this is a rare piece of kit and sound amazing on the zed! My first mod and probably one of my fav's. I paid in excess of £200 for this intake. £160 posted - Note it is currently still on the car and needs to be removed. any questions drop me a pm Bhav
