  1. Hey Tim/Ray, why would I joke about this😜. I've got the forged engine form Keydets old car which I was going to sort out and put into Paul Ts supercharged zed but he's got so much going on atm so it is up for sale as is or fully rebuilt. It's a complete long block. It needs 2 new cosworth pistons and a full gasket kit and it's good to go. However I will get all the clearances checked new ACL bearings and new rev up oil pump as that's the way to do it right.

The pistons are 11.0:1 compression ratio but I can source wise I 8.8:1 or 9.5:1 if you want extra margin of safety from det. TBH 11.0:1 will be ok for a sc set up and the lower CR for a turbo.

    Get in touch if interested.

  2. If you are not in a hurry I would have a very good car for sale later next month.

It's 50k miles on a late 2003 and full UK GT spec car.

The car was an ex show car with a correct supercharger and many extras but it's been fully brought to OEM completely including a new low mileage engine, full respray to a Nissan color of the buyers choice. The undercarriage was fully stripped by the previous owner and powder coated so it's rust free. I have carefully source all the best OEM parts that needed swapping back from aftermarket parts so it will be like a time capsule. There are extra like an HR bonnet thrown in and a gloss black roof to make it stand out.

Send pm if contacted but once it's ready it will be on here fs and Ebay/AT/PH etc.

  3. Damn you Macca for putting my mug on here!! When did you take all the pics sneaky!!!

  4. Hey Chris thanks for all your input! I have to raise my hat to you and say this you are a mad man but you have earned my respect. I had no diagrams and had to follow every wire, splice connector etc before I could make sense of it all.

It is a major achievement how all that was working beneath the surfaceðŸ‘ðŸ‘.

I felt so sorry when I saw the bitch in this garage and she had not been looked after right but not deliberately. The previous owner did spend money try to get her going but he wasn't the kind of car guy like you and me who can look after such an temperamental asset.

I told you to sell me told wheels back in the day and that's what I bought the car for😉.

I'll give you a shout if any hiccups or guidance etc.

@forum: I'm working through the list setting prices and the pm list so I get the dibs correctly. Be patient. Just been from a night shift so it my take a while. Please in the case someone wanted everything together it will be considered first before splitting.

    Cheers.

  5. You are wrong there. The bitch was dead until we rescued this project. There has been lots of talk from many quarters here about it but no commitment.

There is nothing easy about stripping her and it's the only way it would survive. On paper it looks like a bargain but the car was it particularly well kept and lots of parts will need refurbishing. A lot of the installations were hardwired or spliced into thousand pieces that will render a lot of the parts useless.

The bitch will live on in many other zeds and that's a good thing. Long live the bitch.

  6. Hi guys. As some of you already know and some have probably guessed. Myself and Paul decided to buy the Bitch - Keyser's old car.

The plan when we bought it wasn't really set in stone but we knew there were some parts on the car that we both wanted and secondly we thought it was a shame that such an iconic car was lying unloved and not doing what it was meant to do.

After 2 weeks of inspecting and stripping some parts off the car I have found a nice rust free underside and we have decided to put the car back to OEM and have it freshly painted to give a new owner the chance of a getting a really nice car. We decided therefore to fully strip the car off all the non-OEM parts to offer to the forum, Ebay etc to fund the rebirth of the car.

The option of restoring the car back to her former glory was not feasible as the cost of rebuilding the blown engine and making the car more neutral so as to attract a bigger market made it uneconomical.

The task of restoring the car has not been easy as there are many custom connections and technical challenges but eventually we are almost there.

As for the blown engine, we are rebuilding it and swapping it for Paul's 50,000 mile one. Coincidentally the mileage reads circa50,000 on both cars which is handy. Looks like it was written in the stars.

I'm almost certain the car ran low on oil and spun a bearing we ceased the engine. Initial inspection and strip is promising as there oil pan is free of debris and mayonnaise. The cylinders and pistons tops look in good nick. The block external looks intact.

We will get full diagnostics when it will be fully stripped down. The plan is to use the ported heads and cans but rebuilt using 9.5:1 compression forged pistons to suit Pauls needs. We are aiming for 550whp.

A list of parts that are available is included below and I'll add prices shortly once everything has been thoroughly inspected and or refurbished from the car to make sure we're happy to sell them. Everything will have a good description of condition.

Because we are restoring the car I would be requiring OEM parts for swap. If you do not have or want to swap it is not an issue. I will adjust the price to reflect this.

  7. Agree with you there GM. Never had to disable it. Switching it off is enough and i almost never get it to interrupt or auto brake on track

And i think you me you want to disable TC as ABS is useful.

  8. Man you dont cease to amaze me how you get things clean and proper before going on your car!

I just used a rag with white spirit and degreasant to get off road grime and oil then got the bushes in and straight on the car.

Still waiting for you to get back about the kaaz or BBK👀
