  1. most cops join to catch scum. When they pull you, you're less inclined to get prosecuted if they think you're a law abider who generally benefits society. Some are just bullies and some are twisted by government performance figures. Always instills a bit of respect when you get treat well by them tho.

Can't agree more with you there. I've been pulled a few times with the traffics because of my mis-spaced plate. I've just been pleasant to them, and they have sent me on my way without any fines. One even commented on how dirty my car was, and when he usually see's it is spotless :p

I was slightly drunk on saturday night, and was talking drunken rubbish to coppers on the beat outside the local nightclub asking one particular cop if he could get me a job driving the local traffic's Evo 10. I can just remember him asking me "So have you got your car with you tonight mate?" I quickly replied "yeah - it's round the corner, I hate walking home when its freezing".

Thing is, I couldn't stand.. lol.

  2. Thats what i'm going to do, i'll wait until the winter has past and i'll get one then. Will have the pennies saved up by then :)

Where abouts in town are you from jay? and if you don't mind me asking, how much is your insurance? Motherwell is quite a high risk area so i'm looking at 2k for a years insurance, which isn't too bad. :)

  3. When asked how he was feeling, the 86-year-old replied,

'Things are just great and I've never felt better.'

I now have a 20 year-old bride who is pregnant with my child.

'So what do you think about that Doc?'

The Doctor considered his question for a minute and then began to tell a story.

'I have an elderly friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season.'

One day he was setting off to go hunting.

In a bit of a hurry , he accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun.'

'As he neared a lake , he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water's edge.

He realized he'd left his gun at home and so he couldn't shoot the magnificent creature.

Out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it were his favorite hunting rifle and went 'Bang Bang'.'

'Incredibly, two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead.

Now, what do you think of that?' asked the Doctor.

The 86-year-old thought for a minute and said,

'Logic would strongly suggest that somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver.'

The Doctor replied, 'My point exactly.'

  4. On my own personal vehicle, I would prefer to keep the same brand/tread pattern all round, however, there is a few 350z's that the company I work for has leased out on contract hire and we've mixed different brands front/rear and we have still to have any problems.

  5. Unlucky mate, zedboys car was a cracker. I guess it would have cost you a fortune to insure right enough due to the mods & your age? Mustang? very nice. I know what you mean about LHD, but I think it would be easy to get used to it. My boss has a LHD dodge ram, and its like being in a tank lol.

Nah, i'm not at uni, i'm working full time at the moment. I may go to uni in a few years after i've had my fun :p I take it your at uni at the moment? my twin bro studies in strathclyde uni.

I'll definitely take you up on that offer sometime mate, would be greatly appreciated. I've decided not to rush into anything. I may aswell wait until I see the perfect one before I jump in the deep end as it could prove to be a very expensive mistake :p

My brothers mate bought a 350z at the start of the year and travelled down to england numerous times, and turned his nose up at loads of different cars, but he found a excellent example eventually.

  6. Cheers guys. I might just take you up on that Jay. Is yours the JDM one for sale on strathycruise? it looks pretty tidy.

I don't think I can wait until spring. My ZS will be up for sale in the next few days and i'll be looking to get my 350 for xmas :)

I really like Traktion's which is for sale on this site, and seen a few others for sale.

Are the nismo backboxes still available? they sound @*!# hot! :p

  7. Ello, i'm 19 and i'm from sunny Motherwell - just south of Glasgow. I currently drive a mk2 MG ZS, and i've got my heart set on getting a 350z. If everything works out, i'll be getting a decent example come spring as I don't fancy learning to drive a rwd on icy roads.

I was shocked at the price zed's are going for these days, you don't half get some amount for your money. I'm looking for a zed with relatively low mileage, but it must be gunmetal(the best colour) and have ray alloys.

I also was shocked at how cheap some quotes I got for insurance for my age. I got various quotes kicking about £1800, I just dont understand why its so cheap for a teenager to drive a 3.5litre?!

Anyways, less blabbing on, will be great having a good banter from you guys!

    Cheers.
