  1. Z/Y/W is a multi-speed rating. (Y being the highest I believe which is tested to 168/186 mph)

However, it will make no difference if z/y/w is fitted.

The 95/91 z/y/w is the load index of the tyre. (strength of the sidewall)

I recommend like for like replacement with regards to spec of tyre on the car, but to be honest, putting a set of tyres with a slightly higher l/index won't cause much of a problem. But on my car, I wouldn't up the index just to be on the safe side..

    Z/Y/W doesnt matter..

  2. I had a rather expensive head unit stolen from my first car whilst it was parked in the street outside my house one night. The police just do not seem intrested in in matters such as thefts from motor vehicles, vandalism etc. But as soon as a fist has been raised, the police are straight to your doorstep.

I once seen had a guy kick a wing mirror off of my car at 2am in the morning and I seen red mist. I went out with my shorts and t-shirt on and wanted to fight three guys, without realising what trouble that I had walked into. After getting chased 2 miles, after hitting the biggest guy and my house window put in with a half brick, it could have been worse - i could have been stabbed! :o

Sad state of affairs that people are scared to stand up and try to protect their property from mindless idiots.

  3. Ach, c'mon get her told Jay :p

That reminds me, i've actually got scud pictures of a certain girl I was seeing, and I have now noticed she has racked up a fair amount of posts on the Strathycruise website. She didn't half turn into a nutter after I first met her. To find a girl that talked about cars more than me was rather disturbing.

  4. hahah wat year is he in dude? Am in my final year just now so that is a killer not in uni much but got so much work 2 get done

haha are we hearing uni students complain about having lots of work to do??????

see, exactly what i said.. :p;)

I wish I was at uni actually. I love driving past the uni's, theres plenty of eye candy :p

I read an article in the Daily Record last week which was titled "Students out of control". Basically, drunk students on freshers week with baps out, £1 per "lethal" shot and generally having a good time.

And I spend a fortune every year going to Spain for this, when its on my door step? lol, i'll go and have a look at some uni prospectuses

  5. I don't think they can give you points for a mis-represented plate. at the most, just ask the DVLA to remove the right for you to use the plate. I've had "S777EE F" on my car since last January, and only been stopped twice. I guess that because I drive like a granny, the police don't mind :p
