Typical, their website has been down for 2 days.... am I right to be suspicious?
-
Will do, first refusal on any of my NISMO bits if I end up changing my mind (Unlikely!) I understand that my 19" Nismo's have built in spacers.....but I heard/read somewhere that I will need to lower the car at the rear? What are my options? Leave it standard (will it really notice?) Lower it with suspension setup? I am fairly new to modifying suspension so help would be appreciated!

In the current economic climate, I would say that I stand a good chance as I have built up a list of same spec/mileage with price differences to show how overpriced it is.
-
Sorry to bump, do you think it's worth enquiring? Do you think anyone on the forum would be able to view the car for me? or is that a bit cheeky?

After how many miles do these usually need replacing? Also, is it possible to get larger discs to prevent wheels from looking hollow (like pram wheels!)?
-
Price on the Nissan site suggests it's now £14,495..... I want all the extras though, I have saved up for this and want everything on it! That way I don't have to upgrade and it will be perfect So aiming for £12,000.....do you think anyone would view it for me in Wallasey?? Otherwise I will have to find some excuse with business to travel up there!

hmmm I think I may call them tomorrow, Liverpool isn't close to Oxford so don't want to drive for a waste of time. The advert worrys me slightly: 2 owners and 25,000 miles in 3/4 years... is that about right? Also, it says GT, but without more photos I cannot tell? I suppose leather interior and CD give it away, but they have hardly boasted about the car? I get the impression they don't know much about the car...is that a good thing or a bad thing when trying to haggle? How much do you think it's actually worth? How many chilli red have been produced pre facelift? any ideas? Am I likely to get the same opportunity closer to May? Sorry for the Q's
-
Aren't you a guardian angel! Well a few things come to mind with the price: It's not a facelift It's 2004 plate It's got the old wheels A 313 facelift chilli is £18,000 on a 57 plate I think it's worth £13,000 (would be less if it wasn't red!) Might check finances and pick one up early if it's in good nick....though it will be stuck on the drive for a while!
-
Wow, hadn't seen that! Where did you spot that one as I have been watching pistonheads and autotrader like a hawk!! That's just what I am after, shame that it is about £2k overpriced?
-
Oh that is quite nice, though I think if I don't get a red one I won't be satisfied!
-
Yum, very tidy.....hmmmm I will have a think. After driving my Golf around, I simply cannot wait for a red one to come about if I don't see one by May. Anyone have any photos of a NISMO 350z in Azure blue? I searched everywhere and haven't seen one azure nismo kitted zed with the LMGT4 wheels..... maybe I could be a first
-
Well I got a set in the end, £850 with Falken tyres. Absolute bargain, just need a wee bit of TLC. I am over the moooooon
-
That one on Autotrader has been there for about 3 months!!! I will stay away from it I think. The others are a bit overpriced, I am hoping that with the new numberplate (09) coming out and 370Z later this year that a 2006 model will fall into budget. I love your car ersen, looks really tidy without the spoiler actually.... got anymore photos from the side and rear? Not sure if I should use my NISMO spoiler or not now! Just had the wheels delivered and boy are they stunning, I could sit here all day staring at these babies! Just gotta get a car before May and I am laughing
-
I think I just creamed my pants! That's awesome!! Exactly how I want mine B)
-
I really dislike the roadster I am afraid that looks tidy, but prefer my nismo wheels on the coupe
-
Thanks for the heads up on the wheels CS, 19inch LMGT4 wheel nuts, caps and tyres with 5mm tread for £882 including delivery. I owe you one P.s. I need to speak with your guys about fitting and spraying still!
-
Yeh, it's tough guys.... I am addicted to autotrader and pistonheads and the forums.... .I check about 4 times a day I want it to look like this: I have bought all the NISMO bits... which I thought would be the hard bit locating official bits.

Ever since I test drove a zed (276bhp) in October, I have been convinced to spend my hard earned cash on one for my 21st birthday in May. However, I am after a red one with GT pack....which seems to be impossible to find!!! I am wondering whether to just settle for a blue? Or would I be likely to find a ~2006 350Z GT for less than £15,000 by May the 20th? I have already bought most of the toys for it (Official NISMO parts): I turn 21 on the 20th of May and cannot wait to get out of this car (Golf)...insurance has given me the thumbs up! So... do I hold out and pray for a red one even if it isn't a facelift (has to have the GT pack though)? or do I just get an Azure and nismo it up??
-
I saw a 370z on the way to work. I wondered if it was just a major bodykit.... got closer and managed to overtake it to have a look. It was definately a 370z and it had an 08 plate on it. Poor photo, but this is proof!

25% off LMGT-4 wheels here: http://www.neweraparts.com/Default.aspx ... ductID=286 I am so tempted, but then again....that's still £400+ a rim Is there any alternatives to these wheels? I am very picky and want something similar on my zed
-
I haven't got my 350z yet, but I feel in love with the LMGT4 wheels and was prepared to pay £1500 for a set....but more than that is a bit silly really. I am really depressed that they have gone up so much, as they are the only wheels that I really really really really REALLY like on the Z (as I just bought a nismo kit to go with them on a red zed)

Nissan Dealer Oxford (kidlington) - what a cheeky trick!

I haven't got one just yet, hence the test drive! I work over in Bicester, but I used to work in Witney....I saw a grey zed at Bicester train station once....but they aren't very common in our area! As soon as I get my zed we should have a local meet or something -
