It was emptied and filled with 5w 40 synthetic Silkolene. Could this be why it was sitting at a low idle? Am I safe to say, it won't do any harm?

I just had a P3 service, MOT and EBC ultimax discs/redpads all round (CS supplied) on my Zed. First thing I noticed upon starting up outside the garage, is that the idle seemed to be lower, then dropped a wee bit more, then a wee bit more and settle at like 400/500rpm. This seems awfully low? What's your idle rpm? Could a full oil change have changed this idle rpm? Car seems more rev free and sounds noticeably different, like meaner and throatier...which is a good thing of course! Will give it beans once the brakes are fully bedded in and report back.

I have a zed, am 21, single and liking girls is an understatement. Does that fit the bill Plus I want to prove everyone at work wrong, they wind me up about trying to pull kids from the local school...

Zed is in Westway Nissan in Kidlington tomorrow for P3 service, MOT and new pads/disks fitted all round (EBC ultimax + redstuff - thanks CS!) So, I have the bedding in procedure printed off.....what's best? 1.) Take car home from garage, bed them in myself overnight on an empty road, I know they are done properly. 2.) Be lazy, let garage bed them in (included in price of fitting?), take car home, have a few bevvy's to celebrate my 21st birthday and have more sleep. I also have comeback if it's not done correctly. Which option would you go for?

I can confirm that the Official Nismo kit doesn't have cut outs, but looks awesome fitted CS's kit has the holes for the washers, which I believe are on all facelift cars? (somebody confirm).

Research is best form of attack! I obviously didn't do enough and resulted in two orders for bits and lots of rewiring! Will check bluetooth out at some point and let you know

I think my Alpine has bluetooth built into it, lots of functionality and doesn't look worth anything, so don't expect anyone to break into my car for it. Saying that, they would have a right mission getting any of our stereo's out!!

what set-up did you go for? i've been thinking about new amps and speakers but to be honest with the struggle I had getting the bloody headunit back in I NEVER want to take the thing out again It almost went through the windscreen.
