  1. Not got any decents one done yet but here are a couple to peruse!
  2. Not sure yet about that one, depends on work. Will see, wherabouts are you then? I'm actually in Poplar, near Canary Wharf so probably a bit away from you? Not far from the O2 centre though!! Not had car dynoed but think I will at some stage. Know of anyone local who would do it?
  3. Hi all. I have a set of UK clocks, the three above the steering wheel-speedo/rev counter and gauges. Bought to fit my Jap Spec Z, no longer required. Only detail I do not have is the mileage on the clocks. Excellent condition. £160.00 including p&p. Discount if collected. Thanks for reading my ad.
  4. Thanks boomer! I reckon my motor has most of these parts but not all. See you are in S London, are you heading to the meet arranged for next weekend. Think it was starting at the 02 arena last time I checked?
  5. Thanks for the replies chaps. I'll check the exhaust later and see if it is marked with a Z. It certainly saved me money as I rarely keep a stock exhaust on cars. Ref. the suspension, it really is not a harsh ride at all. Not boomy and not overly firm. I would say no different from a standard car with uprated springs. What mods does the S2 engine consist of? Any idea of power output? Would'nt mind getting it on a dyno run. I know what you are saying ref. mods. I have had Beemers, Porsches, x3 Supras etc etc and I know all about losing money on cars!! My Z pretty much looks standard-apart from 20" wheels, rides well, sounds far better than standard and has no bodykit which is often a very personal taste. Hopefully the day I do have to sell all these factors may help? Might be sooner than expected as things are moving quickly on the property front.:scare::scare: Thanks again for the info lads.
  6. Hi Guys, not long had the car and wondered if any of you experts can answer a couple of questions for me? The car has genuine NISMO factory upgrades with a letter from NISMO stating work carried out. Can anyone tell me exactly what these are with reference to the detail below: Nismo Project MU (brakes)? Nismo SCCA T2 (suspension) Nismo S-Tune Fujitsubo FGK (exhaust)-looks like full system to me?? Nismo S2 Concept Engine Upgrade. VQ35DE - car is certainly quick/responsive It is also fitted with Nismo 300kn/h clocks. Do these upgrades add significant value to a 350Z without the above? The car handles superbly, the exhaust sounds awesome and looks top quality and the brakes are very sharp-but obviuosly not Brembo!! Thanks for taking the time to read.

    Good mpg

Cheers sheepshagga! Any pics of your carbon lip? Thinking of fitting one to the car, just trying to find the right one.

    Good mpg

Cheers for the comments-car is far more stunning in the flesh. I am sure even the 18s' look good, nice deep dish and I find them very well finished. I'm sure I'd rather have 18s' when it comes to replacing the tyres!!

    Good mpg

Excuse my ignorance, not a clue what Dumanis are!!?? They are Bersaglio Spoke II (chromed-20"). Lovely wheel, actually very easy to keep clean. That said even though I won't run the car much in winter the wheels are coming off and hopefully fitting some Rays' just to be sure!

    Good mpg

It did fluctuate, my readings are in Kms' and I got 770km and still going before I topped up. I calculate that to be 481 miles. Apart from a couple of dual carriageways through town this was almost all motorway or 40mph zones. I managed to squeeze just over 81 litres in to the tank.

    Good mpg

Just driven 580 miles (NE Scotland to London) and sitting mainly at 80 mph averaged 30.9 mpg! I thought this is good value!!?? I started off with Sainsbury 97 RON as was not near Shell garage. Topped up later on with Shell V and consumption actually improved whilst driving exactly the same (boring!). Just thought I'd share that with you all. Have a few questions about my car but better put them in technical section. It has documention from NISMO with letters/codes stating what upgrades were done at NISMO factory but I am unsure exactly what these upgrades are. Will any of the 350Z boffins be able to tell me just from the codes? Anyway, that was a long day but the car was getting some looks! Later.
  12. Thanks Dan, mate this is all really helpful so thanks for your time. My speedo is in KMH but has the inner digits correlating in MPH, bit like a reversal of a UK clock if you know what I mean. It is pretty difficult to read off the speed as the numbers are pretty small. This would suggest to me there has been no requirement to re-calibrate as there is already the nph numbers on the speedo dial? Either that or I have been driving all over the place at 140 mph! I would still prefer proper clocks but it looks like I would lose the gear indicator which is useful in tiptronic mode, not that I would use it thet often. My ideal solution would be: Just change the speedo independantly in the set of the three clocks, keeping my 'Nismo' pod and gear indicator but having the speedo in UK speak. Still not sure if achievable? Nothings ever simple!!! Thanks again mate.
  13. I know mate!! Can't remember the make-DOHHHHH? Been driving for 10 hours, will make more sense after some proper zeds! By the way, thanks for the advice. Looks like more money!
  14. Nightmare, just bought my car privately and it is doing the same. My fronts are 245/35/20 and rears 275/30/20. Is this the cause of the slip control cutting in? Not going to be too chuffed if I have to change them. The rears are slightly worn, the fronts brand new(all Bridgestone). Can I change the rears to correct the problem?
  15. Thanks for the above mate. I think I may have got your explanation wrong! But, I'll (try) to word my next query to make sense!! Can I take the speedo out of the UK cluster and fit it independantly in to my cluster or are the three clocks in a sealed unit? If it is just a speedo 'face' you fitted (MPH) does the overlay comply with the speedo needles original positions without any further adjustment? I take it if I chose the overlay option it means I am still stuck with my tripmeter and mileometer (or should that be kilometer!!!!) in Kilometers? Confused yet!!?? I only ask becuase with Supras there was a 'plug in' available which attached to the rear of the speedo and transformed the trip meter etc. in to miles. I would like to keep the Nismo clocks but I travel a fair bit and it can be a bit of a pain always calculating mileages when I should be thinking more about cars, bikes, women, beer and the price of petrol. I should add the car is an auto and therefore has the gear indicator window in the rev counter. Are there compatible UK clocks that provide this function? Sorry to go on, I'm one of those sad persons that has to have evreything up to speed. Thanks again for the info. so far.
  16. Aye, it is the Bose sub, therefore must be the Bose system. I thought the system might have been a little more powerful? It is me that emailed ref. gauges too Lee. Still interested if available? Will be away from computer on the road all day today but will check email tonight and can supply phone number if you want to chat. Thanks for reply mate.
  17. Thanks for that mate. Think I will look at fitting components in the front and better sub in the rear. I have a new unused Alpine 4 channel amp sitting about which would power it all. Just wondered if the amp alone would improve things, although I think the Bose sub may not be compatible with other amps? Cheers.
  18. Hi all. New to forum. At the moment I am looking good for this trip so please count me in! Look forward to gaining some info. and seeeing what others have done to their motors. And more importantly sitting in a convoy of Zeds! Cheers.
  19. Hello again! Just had a proper look at the car. It has what I believe to be the Bose sub in the rear Not sure about remaining speakers. I don't know where the Bose amp is located to have a look? Still interested in the clocks/gauges you have on offer if you get back to me. Cheers mate.
  20. Hi all. I am looking to replace the speedo and other clocks with UK spec. If I replace the speedo can the mileage be set accordingly if I buy used clocks or is it automatically at zero when fitted? (Obviously talking second hand clocks!). I have NISMO faced clocks on mine, is it worth keeping them on instead? I am sure I have some sort of OCD cause not having proper miles on the clock does ma heed in. Thanks in anticipation.
  21. Hi mate, totally new to the 350Z (bought today!) so please bear with me. My car is an import-are these off a UK car, and if so does that mean I shall get all the data in UK speak, i.e. mpg instead of litres/mph as opposed to kph etc? If 'yes' to all above-can you let me know a price, could be a very quick sale for you! Cheers.
  22. Hi mate, just bought my car so excuse my ignorance! Will this fit my car, it is a 2003 Import? Would the speakers all be direct fitment/replacement? I am assuming the speakers fitted are standard as it sounds okay, but not that good quality. Any idea of a price would help. Cheers. Sorry, should have added-there is already a sub fitted (factory) behind the drivers seat.
