Car control and drifting at Oulton Park Saturday 25th July We’re off playing on the Oulton Park drift stages again, this time it’s on Saturday July 25th and of course all 350z members are invited along. This is a bit of what we get up to – This is a great fun event and a good way to learn how your car reacts when it runs out of grip. As an extra bonus, even after a full day drifting, the low friction surface on the drift stages at Oulton give virtually zero tyre wear! List price for this one is £140 for the day but we are doing the usual members rate of £120, extra drivers can sign in for £35 and passengers for a tenner. Free instruction is included so it's no problem if you haven't tried it before - if you'd like to come along please shout up on here and I'll PM you the booking details and a discount code . Hi Fellas Summer’s heading swiftly our way and we’re ready to launch our next Trackaction-Online club trackday! On Saturday September 5th we will be running an open pitlane at Mallory Park and all 350z club members are invited to come along! Mallory is a great venue, not too hard to learn but still plenty challenging enough to keep you interested all day and it’s pretty central so not as much of a trek to get to as places like Cadwell and Croft! We will be limiting numbers to make sure that everyone can get plenty of tracktime, and free instruction will be available on the day so it’s the perfect day out whether you are a novice or a regular track-monkey. This is a 98db event so we aren't expecting any monster Evos etc and we are looking forward to seeing the same friendly atmosphere that our drift and trackdays always seem to develop. The list price for the day is £195 but as usual we have agreed a discount for club members and there is an extra bonus for booking early. The club rate is £180 but the first ten places booked will get an extra £30 off and the next twenty will get £15 off so they will pay £150 and £165 respectively. Obviously we expect these places to go fairly quickly so to give everyone a fair chance we will be activating the discounts on Saturday June 6th at 9am and then it’s first come, first served for the cheaper places! I've done CAT day myself and it is very good but if you want a lower budget, most good trackdays include free instruction if you want it and it's amazing how all you often need is half an hour with an instructor and then some time to practice and perfect what he has taught you! It's a shame about the clash with Z009 but if anyone else does want to come along to our May driftday I've set up a thread HERE. Chris, sorry we couldn't refund your full entry for the day but nobody came forward to buy it from you and as I explained by PM we simply didn't have time to re-sell the space; there was never any question over the circumstances being very difficult and unavoidable for you which is why we offered to double the refund that our terms would normally allow at such short notice, I hope this doesn't seem too unfair and I look forward to seeing you at the next event. For anyone not venturing down to Z009m at Billing Aquadrome, Trackaction-Online will be running another club driftday at Oulton Park on Saturday May 9th . This is what we got up to last time..... The surface on the drift stages is low friction, very easy to slide on and gives almost zero wear to the tyres so it's a great day out and a fun way to see how your car reacts in a slide . We'll be back on the full circuit towards the end of the year so you'll all get a chance then . S1 HNK, don't worry about your tyres, a full day drifting on this surface generally gives less than 1mm wear . If your mate wants to come along then he can book HERE! .
