I've been looking at the Magnex exhaust & also the Mongoose version. Both very similar but I can't find any reviews of people that have them. Both on ebay for £450 - £500. Has anyone on here got one of these?

My exhaust gave it up on tuesday & broke in that exact place in Photo on first post. I am now in need of an exhaust. I would quite like to replace the "Y" pipe also. Car is 53 plate & done 62.5k Miles. Been looking at 2 on ebay, the Magnex cat back system & the Mongoose. Both look identical. Looking at these as just want something looking fairly standard & not too noisey but Stainless.

Thanks for the advise guys, I've been driving it & has not seemed to do it again. Hopefully it was just a strange moment. It is on its first clutch & has done 62k. So i'll see how it goes. Cheers

I had my clutch play up twice yesterday yet it seemed fine today. I started up & idled for about a minute. The car was semi hot as had driven it 1hr before. I pulled away fine & changed to 2nd the tried puttin foot down just a little but it revved with no go but I did not feel it spin & no ESP light flashed. I then let go of throttle & it came back so spead up & changed to 3rd & same thing happened. But been fine since that. Does it sound like clutch & that it is going? Also any comments on what clutches are best? Nissan quoted me £675 fitted today (Bournemouth). Local Garage Ebblake Autocentre £722 Fitted ADL Clutch. Any Comments? Thanks

Hi ya Lucy & welcome! I've only just got my 350z. Dunno how insurance is with you but I got a bloody good quote with Admiral & Bell Direct & I'm only 20yo. My Quote for when it comes up next is just after I turn 21 next month. Quote is £1246. I find by having me as main driver then both my parents as named drivers with their clean licences brings the quote down about £400. Bargins! Good Luck for when you get the Zed. Hi all, Bought this 350z last week after saving really hard. Got a bargin, & insurance really good considering i'm only 20yo. Sounds a bit dodge if you ask me. Very good idea not to buy! There are plenty out there so have a look. I washed mine yesterday & took some good pics. I'll be posting up them tonight. Good luck on finding another one. I find autotrader & pistonheads the best 2 places to find cars.

Yeah went & viewed that one. Bit expensive though just under £14k. It's a dealer in Ferndown, Dorset. Not in the best condition but was quite good just expensive.

I find with admiral if you add 2 named driver that are older e.g parents or older family that have a clean licence it brings the quote right down. On my own was bout £1800 yet with my parents both on it only £1246.
