  1. Hmm not sure, starting to look a bit darth vaders helmety.
  2. Yeaa i'm quite used to it now to be honest. The audi i had before was quite heavily modified and i was pulled over in that 7 times in 2 years. I've always been polite and gone along with whatever they've said and i've never got any points or anything. I'm sure that if i had argued with any of them i would of been done for something.
  3. I'm starting to think that he did you me a favour by warning me, i have been driving very sensibly and courtiously since he pulled me over. Plus it has definately made me feel more vulnerable to being caught.
  4. Very need and tidy, i likey.
  5. Oh i doo plan on giving him a cheeky wave next time i see him. I think if i get pulled again i will make a complaint. If he had pulled me on the way home with hot pizza's in the car i might not of been so polite. Ha ha.
  6. He was on duty at the time and driving a squad car with his partner. But yeaa i think it he does have a personal vendetta against me. It may be a bit of jealousy as i'm a baby faced 24 year old driving a nice car. I dunno. But my friend was in the passengers seat and he's studying law at uni so he told me that he had no right to pull me over as i wasn't doing anything wrong at the time. No stop an search form was issued. But i didn't get his badge number or the registration of the vehicle. Plus i don't think me making a complaint against him would help. He even said to me that i don't want him as an enemy.
  7. On my way to get pizza last night following a marked bmw traffic car. The lights go on and he signals me to pull over, asks me to get out of the car and stand by the side of the road. Then he went on to tell me that he's seen me breaking the speed limit on a number of occasions when he was off duty and that he will catch me, and take my licence away. He said i stuck out like a sore thumb driving a rare modded car with a personalised plate. So yeaa basically he is hunting for me and desperate to catch me doing something i shouldn't. looks like i'm gonna have to be a good boy for a few weeks untill he forgets about me and has a new challenge.
  8. Oh ok yeaa i know that all well. I moved down here about 6 years ago an i love it i gotta say.
  9. Wasn't me but where abouts are you from?
  10. No worries buddy
  11. +1 on the kit
  12. I think a lot of it's down to tyre choice too. When i first got mine it was on falkens which were fine in the dry but i didn't find them very good in the wet. Others may disagree but i'm on bridgestone re50a's now and it's a lot harder to come unstuck.
  13. Hmm yes 3 sets is probably 2 sets too many
  14. Full set of Rays in good condition, slightly kerbed but nothing major. Looking for £350. Can arrange a courier or local delivery at extra price.
  15. That looks good breaks the interior up. Nice job.
  16. Yeaa +1 on that id have a C2S over the turbo. Running costs would be crazy.
  17. Definately thinking 19's are needed. Loving the camber on the rear wheels.
  18. Neat little job
  19. I see what you mean that is a big difference for fairly similar spec.
  20. I know a lot of the guys on this forum know a lot about cameras so i thought i'd ask for some advice. I'm looking for a point and shoot digital camera with a decent amount of zoom and lots of mega pixels. So far i've looked at a Canon SX200is Powershot for about £250 which is at the high end of what i want to spend. I also looked at a fuji slr lookalike but i was told they weren't very good. Any thoughts? Cheers guys.
  21. When i briefly looked at this thread i thought your car had been wrapped in invisibility vinyl because of the first picture Looking good though
  22. + 1 on the lexarse lights
  23. Grrrrrrr 2 weeks since having it done the badge recess is visable again and the body shop won't fix it because its a modification and they can't guarentee it. Which is fair enough i suppose but still annoying. So now im either thinking a new front bumper or a badge of some sort to hopefully cover up the outline of where the hole used to be.
