yes heard how much they were. Had trouble with mine recently. Only popped off when the sun was out . Luckily, still under warranty so they fitted new clips
Well just sorted it,i found some small dia sleeving, and pushed that over the lug,and now its fixed! All nice and secure. On mine the white clip (at the top) eventually split from me repeatedly popping the trim back in. Be careful you don’t stress it too much with the extra sleeving

Only just heard this after a facebook post....love it

I'm definitely no expert but if you have a search on here you’ll come across of references to it. I think some are noisier than others so difficult to say without comparing it to another.
I'm based in Sheldon (maybe not too far from MoonHawk?) so feel free to pop round and have a listen to mine if you want.

Hi Moonhawk,
Not sure about the metallic sound but the clutch noise definitely sounds like the clutch bearing noise that seems to be a trait of the 350z

Grrr, living in a city like Birmingham makes me really jealous of scenery like this. I need to get out more.
Lovely looking Zed

Treated myself to this last week. I'm pants at games anyhow so this is real tough, after the tutorial I was . Into my third world now and to be honest I'm only progressing with the help of a walkthrough guide

I have a 2007 350z with built in sat nav and wondered if you can update the software to include speed camera positions.
Rich
Nope
Not as yet, but I notice Renault has released and update CD for their xanavi system and the latest map DVD (2010/2011) includes european fixed speed camera locations. The map DVD is identical to ours but unfortunately without the software upgrade you can't select the info.
Will Nissan eventually release a software upgrade for the version x7? Probably not so guess the answer may remain 'nope'
I found another forum where Nissan owners had tried the Renault update CD but, though the initial screen shots looked promising, it didn't load complete installation

I have the scanned instructions that I previously sent to another forum member. Drop me you email and I send them over

Anybody had any experience of this new version of birdview map/software? Apparently it is compatible with the x7.0 system in the latest Zeds and includes improved menus and speed camera warnings.
There's talk about it on GPSunderground though it looks like it requires a software upgrade from CD. Though I’ve tried a newer map DVD I would probably be a bit wary about actually attempting to update the system software.....unless someone else had tried it first

Sorry, I can't see how different tyres makes (front to rear) would cause such an reaction from the traction control. Accelerating, braking, turning, road surface, tyre pressures...does anyone really think that the load and grip provided by 4 identical tyres would be equal?
If you've got the car on the limit then yes, eventually one tyre will be the first to give but it doesn’t sound like the car is on the limit in this particular case.

A fantastic day out fur us. The 3rd I've attended and the slight route changes (and of course the weather) made it the best yet. Thanks to all who had a hand in arranging

Well done and

I believe certain map versions will only run with certain releases of the Birdview software. I think the latest systems used version 7.x software. So, for example. if you currently have version 6.x software and obtain a map revision that requires version 7.x it won't work.
Plus older systems ran off CD whilst newer ones use DVD. I think it changed around 2005 looking at other threads on here
awaits first person to suggest changing to the nurrish satnav

Yes I was in the black Coupe and had just filled up at said Shell garage. I had a £2.50 shell voucher so the dent in my wallet was slightly more bearable.

Silver cabrio with the hood down spotted today at 14:30. Both gave the wave

Great vid, takes me back to my first exposure to computers in the early/mid 80's

Spotted heading towards the airport, hood down at about 12:00 today

A bit last minute, but can anybody recommend a particular car park for visiting the Wulfurn Hall tonight? There are plenty on the map but one that's not a rip off price and easy to get to would be ideal. I'll be arriving around 17:30 so will likely be parked for 6 hours.
I've heard some free parking is availabe after 18:00, so maybe I'll be lucky. Oh, I'm not going in the Zed, so no worries there

and the facebook page can't make 600 members after 3 months! I'm afraid anything with "pass onto (enter number) of your friends", however well intentioned, gets labelled as chain mail and is promptly deleted by me.
Though, as I only usually by from Tescos or Shell I guess I'm indirectly joining the cause

Nissan had to order them in for me. I think they ended up replacing the lower yellow ones aswell though the were OK.
