Knowledge Request: Lamba Sensors

hi chaps.

Question for anyone thats been tinkering around under the car before.

Is it possible to, by mistake, plug the wrong Lamba plug into the wrong socket?

Just asking as i have an ecu output showing one bank being adjusted too rich, and one being adjusted too lean. im wondering if the wrong afr signal is being sent to the ecu as the wrong bank. because (from the way i understand it) both banks are quite opposite to each other, in terms of ecu adjusted fueling.

Cheers

Its only the first lambda sensors that's used by the ECU to adjust fuelling, the one in the cat are just monitors for cat condition, and are only used for adjustment should a failure occur, the plugs AFAIK are no interchangeable, the right and left lambda plugs are colour coded.
