chrisday1990 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) Hey fellow Zers Over speed bumps at low speeds I have a clunk clunk from front LHS, a few garages seem unsure so I was wondering is there any definitive way to find the knock because it's expensive to get it worong, I have seen MOT centres with the rumble jacks maybe these? And if I leave it to get worse could this make it easier for a garage to spot? Edited May 31, 2015 by chrisday1990 Quote
Angrybiker Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 It's hard to say without hearing it but I had a clunking/rattling noise recently when going over speed bumps. Replaced front shocks which cured it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
ZMANALEX Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Chris, More than likely it will be the compression rod ball joint (banana arm) so this would be a very good place to start, however difficult to find play with a pry bar. Plenty in stock if required, just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex. 1 Quote
redzed8 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) I had the same problem but drivers side. This is what i found when i took the dust cover off my old banana arm ball joint . Sounded just like this when it was on the car too. Edited May 31, 2015 by redzed8 1 Quote
