With an extensive history in developing exhaust systems for race applications in conjunction with feedback from Japan's top race teams, Tanabe exhaust systems achieve a perfect combination of a lightweight free-flowing straight-through design for maximum performance and durability for your 2009, 2010, 2011 or 2012 Nissan 370Z. Constructed entirely of SUS304 stainless steel with the exception of the Ultra Medalion titanium cat-back exhaust system, Tanabe exhaust systems weigh significantly less than factory installed stock exhaust systems by up to ~ 40%. SUS304 stainless steel construction results in the utilization of less material mass over mild steel, producing an exhaust that is lighter, stronger, and resistant to the elements. Each exhaust system is engineered from the catalytic converter to the rear of the vehicle without modification to any emissions equipment.

 

A refined level of performance and driveability is available in the MEDALION TOURING. The elegant, well defined appearance of MEDALION TOURING is mature, and matches the artistry of a tastefully built, highly tuned machine. Using the all new 'continuous strand' ADVANTEX packing material technology, MEDALION TOURING acheives extremely high levels of exhaust system efficiency, while maintaining a street driveable, extremely low frequency and deep tone that is well under 93db for discreet sports driving.

 

This system requires no removeable silencer for under 93db operation at all rpms. The extremely deep, low frequency tone keeps in-cabin noise to a minimum. The full SUS304 stainless MEDALION TOURING features a slim-line oval canister, and a special dual wall, angle-cut tip. This premium quality system is for sports driving.

 

MEDALION TOURING's slim canister is pleasing to the eye, and is designed to allow for high ground clearance, for lowered vehicles.

 

Tanabe was one of the first Japanese aftermarket companies to create full SUS304 stainless steel exhaust systems many years ago. The highest grade SUS304 stainless is used on all systems for maximum durability, as well as reduction in weight.

 

Minimizing bends is a goal of each custom-built Tanabe exhaust system. The truest form is realized to minimize restrictions and maximize useable power gains. Where necessary, the piping is mandrel bent for improved exhaust flow characteristics.

Just a note, I have this exhaust and it's the best sounding 370z exhaust i've heard, I ran a cobra before but much prefer this sound.
