Adz Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Car flew through its MOT today. No advisories, nothing, nada!! Well chuffed!! Was dreading this more than usual as its the first MOT ive put her in for since owning the car (car was brought with a fresh MOT). Also had only just finished some major work to the top end of the engine 2 days ago. Its nice finally being in the position of knowing where you stand with the car, like the condition etc. Also now feel like I know my way around her after taking it to pieces various times over the last year... replaced clutch, flywheel, valve stem seals, exhaust, decats, servicing and lots of other little bits. She was only off the road for about 2 weeks while I completed some work, but have completely fallen in love with her all over again. Its like having another child in the family, no matter how naughty it is, you always end up brushing it off and forgiving. Also I could never have done as much as I have to the car without the wealth of information and help that this forum provides. So a massive thanks to this amazing forum and its dedicated members Will hopefully make some effort to attend some meets this year, so will see you around. Quote
