Scott TMN
Ok, so i think my drivers side mirror as took a little knock (though i cant see any marks) As its loose. By this I mean you can stand there and wiggle it (direction being to front of car to back of the car). Probably has a good 2 inches of travel, still works fine, but is really annoying, especially after a drive it points the mirror to the body of the car Was wondering a way to fix this? maybe pop the glass out and tighten a nut or something? Hope I don't have to swap it out as I have a carbon cover stuck on it! aha Thanks in advance
ilogikal1
First thing I'd do is remove the door card & trim behind the mirror and check the 3 bolts securing the mirror to the base.
Scott TMN
Okay thanks, will give that a go! Would the door card not reveal bolts that holds the base to the car, opposed the mirror to the base though?
ilogikal1
If I remember rightly, there's a bit of trim inside the door separate to the door card for access to the bolts; that's the bit that's got to come off but the door card has to be off to get access to that trim.
