tomzzzcattle Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 One way of finding out if your car has been mapped - might be to phone up the companies that map these cars , Abbey motorsport , horsham developments, RS tuning or TDI north - they could probably find out by doing a plate check on your car. I think its worth doing if you haven't, makes for a nicer car to drive especially if you add some HFC etc and I'm sure all the above companies would do a great job, I had mine done at Abbey motorsport and was very pleased with the results. brillomaster Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Where did you buy the car from? Might give you an indication of who was likely used for an uprev, if its had one done. Other option, find a member whos got one that definitely isn't remapped and drive them back to back for comparison.
