Josh350z Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Hello I'm going to install a Fresh Air Intake and was wondering which I should get. Any of you guys have any opinions as to which is best? I have narrowed it down to 3, but if anyone knows of any better ones I'd be glad to hear your views. AEM HKS Racing Suction Kit Injen I'm not looking for the noisiest! I have installed a HKS F-Con SZ and upgraded the exhaust (milltek cat-back), fitting a Cold Air Intake will the last upgrade for a while before having it tuned on a rolling road. Any Help would be much appreciated in deciding which one I should go for. Cheers Josh Quote
Guest prescience Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 A lot of people seem to like either the JWT Popcharger or the NISMO one. But all HKS stuff is good too. The Injen one has a very low lie http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... t=cai#2852 and once almost totalled a motor (spill's) when he drove through water inadvertantly - it doesn't have a bypass valve like the NISMO. Not much help am I but in my case, before deciding on FI, I was going to go for the popcharger As an aside, don't expect any significant Hp gains from any of these though Quote
Josh350z Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 Thanks prescience Was thinking about the JWT Popcharger, but have heard that is quite noisy. I will take a look at the NISMO. Cheers Josh Quote
