Anyone local with a cobra res/non

Hi I'm just about to buy a cobra but can't make out from youtube clips which to go for. What's the sound difference in 5 db? Is that a lot and how much extra drone does non res create? If anyone near South or West Yorkshire would be kind enough to take me out in theirs for 5 mins it would be appreciated. Cheers

My car's got a cobra non res and I'm from Halifax, West Yorkshire. I could take you out in mine although I've also got decats and a motordyne xyz pipe with HFC which should change the sound.

You could buy the resonated one and then if its too quiet have the resonator cut out or try to do a swap.

Just had a cobra backbox and non res middle pipe fitted today.

With low revs it's deep but not loud enough to **** the neighbours off.

But when you get it over 2k it starts to come on strong and with your foot down it sounds like thunder lol... loving it, so much different to stock.

Had a non res fitted for around 3000miles now and I love it ! In tunnel it sounds the dogs dangly bits. Also managed to set a car alarm off in the town centre with it :D. Only thought I could say is that it drones at between 60-70mph.

Ok so I get that the non res is loud and maybe a bit annoying between 60-70. Who's had experience with both res and non res? Is res really quiet?

In fact wtf. I'm never going to get a sound described to me so just going to go for a non resonated. I will just regain my chav status from when I used to have a 205 gi with a 5" magnex 😮😂
