jimboy2 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) Stupidly started to fit these this afternoon. Forgot how quickly it gets dark! I drilled the holes for them and managed to get the front 2 in alright but the rest I think may be slightly off. Question I have is, am I supposed to be using the original fixings? Or was I supposed to get some new ones. I take it the originals are long enough? Tried doing it without jacking it up stupidly so can't line up the las few holes near the back so not sure if the holes line up. And now looks like it's raining tomorrow!! Rage Edit. Anyone near Waterloovile got some where dry? Edited January 2, 2015 by jimboy2 Quote
Pete87 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Your not the only one mate I fitted mine on my own and didn't enjoy the experience, you can just use the existing bolts Quote
jimboy2 Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) Haha. They seem easy enough to fit. But I need one more hand and the car a bit higher I think. Once I can see what's going on I will be alright. They look awesome even half fitted! Edited January 2, 2015 by jimboy2 Quote
Pete87 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 What I did was Jack it up put wood under the wheels to give me about 6" that should help. 1 Quote
Randy_Baton Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 It helps to make the holes longer than they need to be, as this gives you some extra wiggle room. 1 Quote

Pete87 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I would say you could borrow my garage but there's a boat and engine in the way, looks like the rain should clear up by the afternoon. Quote
