redzed Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Could Toro Rosso have one of the strongest driver line-ups next year in Vettel and Bourdais? I think so. The car doesn`t even look bad, this years, that is Quote
GC350z Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Don’t be surprised if Bourdais sucks. Champ car only got paddle shift this year and still run slick tires. He could find his first season very difficult. Lesser F1 drivers have gone to Champ car and done very well. Were as not really to the other way round. On the other hand he is a great driver (although French) and depending on how competitive the Toro Rosso car is could see him pestering the front runners. Quote
H5 Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Champ cars also have a lot of street races to it's a slightly different style. Mt brother's best mate races out there and finds it tough. He is one amazing driver but you need a bit of the looney toon about you to stand out IMO. Quote
redzed Posted October 9, 2007 Author Posted October 9, 2007 I watched Bourdais through his F3000 career and he was dominant then. I think you will see a much better transition to F1 than some other drivers. Quote
