Jdm vs Uk and Auto vs Manual advice needed please

So I'm thinking of buying a donar engine to rebuild whilst mine stays running, what I need to know from you Zed GOD's is are the UK and JDM engines the same and could I fit my Auto box on what was original ya manual engine.

 

Any help would be really appreciated.

Dont know much about the above, but i do know that i had an auto car, and decided i wanted to convert to a manual

 

bottom line is, it was cheaper to buy another car

But I'm not trying to convert the gearbox, I'm asking if my Auto box will fit on a manual engine as I want to do an engine change.

AFAIK, the engines are the same, yes.

Thanks Ekona and will my auto box fit on the manual engine. I presume I just remove the flywheel and put my torque converter in its place?
