mikejbry Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Hey chaps, I am booking my HR into FCM Motorsport in Bristol, I have a quote for a p3 for the following; engine oil (10/60 fully synth or 10/40 semi synth your choice) filter change gear box oil rear diff oil brake and clutch fluid spark plugs replaced check all lights aux belts suspension and so on. all oils will be castrol and the brake fluid will be rbf600 race fluid. Seems good to me, I am assuming they will change the air filters etc as well. What do you lot think with regards to the oil options? Watshot Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Nissan specifies 5w30 engine oil, and I think Castrol Edge would be the only contender on quality in the Castrol range. Personally I would prefer to see Fuchs Race Pro S, or some use Motul. Perhaps you should ask why they are recommending 10/60 or 10/40, seems odd.
