One way of testing it, is to get an item like a bottle of polish and look at it in the reflection of the different panels. You will soon see any orange peel / milky lacquer etc. If it has just been done then I would say just get some of the same wax you already use onto it if all looks well. Try some G3 and a mop, if the paint has orange peel you'll need to knock it back with 1200 W&D paper ( & soapy water ) paint shop should have done this anyway. signwizard Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 I owned a car bodyshop in a previous life...well the 80's anyway, you weren't even a seed then No fancy cloths and flashy waxes then, turtle wax and a piece of clean muslin if you were lucky, bits out of the old rag bag if you weren't.
