Resprayed door

I've had my door resprayed where it was keyed. I've noticed that it now lacks the depth of the surrounding paintwork. Is this likely to be just a shoddy job or will some judicious detailing get it to look the same? Any thoughts?

Hard to tell mate. Have you got any pics? One way of testing it, is to get an item like a bottle of polish and look at it in the reflection of the different panels. You will soon see any orange peel / milky lacquer etc.

If it has just been done then I would say just get some of the same wax you already use onto it if all looks well. :)

Try some G3 and a mop, if the paint has orange peel you'll need to knock it back with 1200 W&D paper ( & soapy water ) paint shop should have done this anyway.

Sounds shoddy to me

:scare: Bl00dy Hell Paul - you're a quick learner.... It was only on Saturday that you were bemused by microfibre and quick detailing spray :p:lol:
