The thing about mine was that the garage (and I use the term loosely) put crap plugs in at 36,000 without even asking. They put some Bosch wipers on too but that's another story

Make of plug is totally immaterial (although i avoid Denso iridium on boosted application's, but thats personal preference) like i said as long as they are the correct heat range and reach etc there is no difference,

apart form intended longevity.

Iridium = intended for longer than average service life, IE where situation/location prohibits frequent change, service life from 30 to 60K mls

Platinum = also longer service life, but slightly older tech/metal, similar to above, with a service life of up to 30K mls.

Copper core = pretty much the original plug the copper core was developed to promote a stronger spark and keep heat in the plug, thees really need to be changed at around 10K mls

 

There have been many so called "better plugs" with claims of better spark from exotic material's, extra electrodes, none of which are new, and there is no measured advantage in any of them.
