Torque setting for denso plugs on 2008 HR engine

Hi I'm looking at replacing the spark plugs on the Z this weekend.

Does anyone know the torque setting foe the coil pack bolt and the plug itself.

Make sure the socket is a thin walled one too or it won't fit in the hole.

On a side note, and this is wholly unprofessional and the wrong way to do it, but I normally just do the plugs up using my left hand directly above the socket. That's my weaker hand, and it gives enough torque to seal without going overboard.

 

Like I say, not the done thing I know, but it's never failed me across many different cars and many different plug changes.

Elkona judging by your previous response I,d say you are completely mad and unstable, but the above does make sense if no torque wrench is available.

You are now considered only mad.

Off to the garage to inspect the plugs and talk to them quietly.
