addisj Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I have never had an oil temp gauge in a car before so please excuse my ignorance. I would expect it to start off on 0 and then climb as the oil heats up. Mine goes straight to 3/4 on the dial when I first start her up and then slowly comes down to 1/3 on the dial and pulses up to mid way when I accelerate. After about 10 mins of driving it stays around the half way / 3/4 mark. ??? Quote

M13KYF Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 temp gauge would be more helpful I think I think pressure is more important. No pressure is very dangerous afterall Quote
