I guess that many of you may have already read this excellent book from the Skip Barber Racing school/Carl Lopez. Don't be put off by it originating in the good old US of A.

It's just been returned to me again and flicking quickly through, I haven't found a significantly better book to help understand the science of track driving and where/how to gain improvement.

I would call it an adjunct to good tuition rather than a substitute.

My version is about 17 years old but it's been updated since and you can get it from the usual places.

Thought some people might find it interesting.

Yes the Skip Barber School been going a long time in the State, they also run

The Skip Barber Racing Series which is very good value, bit like Formula Ford here.

The Skip Barber School is a direct copy of The Jim Russell School in Snetterton.

Good book, but you need practice as well.
