Hi,

I hope you guys may be interested in a project we currently have under construction.

It's not actually a 350Z - it's a G35 Skyline but I hope there is enough similarity to have some appeal to you.

I'll post up in a blog form if I may?

Info to follow shortly :)

Sounds great!

Although Im more comfortable with doing cosmetic mods rather than mechanical, (and it takes me all my time to get round to doing anything on the cosmetic side). Im still keen to read about projects like this its great to get an insight into how these things are undertaken etc.

Im sure there are others that lik to read about these projects too.

Dont forget you have your own TDI blog area where you can administer the posts...

Our client had reported a degree of oil consumption which explains the carbon deposits.

Subsequent measuring of the cylinder bore integrity revealed an excessive amount of ovality.

The pistons crowns showed a remarkable amount of carbon deposits for such a low mileage engine

Any particular reason for this? Running on 95 RON or something, just poor quality fuel etc?

These feature a very low expansion material that allows for a tight cylinder bore clearance to reduce noise and oil consumption, a polished crown and patented anti detonation grooves B)
