Stew Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I'm sure this has been covered before however, and heres the twist, I need insurance for both my cars. Admiral are currently quoting around £600 for me (24, 7 NCD, 0 points, limited miles) for my 2004 350Z GT and my 1995 Astra 1.7 TD (yes - forced induction! ) So what I am asking is, do others do multicar style insurance and how do they compare to admiral on cover and price? I'd appreciate some advice from people who insure 2 or more cars please. Quote
Chris`I Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Thats cheaper than I pay for my Zed alone! (24, 2yrs NCD, 0 points, 20k business miles). I'd be happy with that I guess! Quote
Stew Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 I have done a few searches both on single cars and most Zed quotes are far more. I am happy but I'll see if anyone else has some suggestions! Quote
Kennydies Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 mmm that is good. I just had a renewal quote with Admiral for £411, fully comp with protected no claims Quote
H5 Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Zurich do a household policy which is useful for multiple cars. I think you pay to insure any car in the household up to a total value of cars and it's an extra £75 per car. Something like that. Quote
Kennydies Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Further to the above, just for note, I added my girlfriend onto the insurance (even though she will never drive it) and the insurance dropped by £50. If I were to add her to my insurance AND do the multi car policy it would drop to £310 fully comp and protected. Quote
SwissZ Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Ouch.... £1,200 fully comp, full no claims. Damn, Switzerland's expensive! Quote
