Help me! This Vectra's "doin my 'ed in"

I've been loaned a new Vectra whilst my Z is "on decision".

 

Everytime I turn on the ignition, it turns on the radio

I turn it off, but next start, it comes back on again.

I've looked in the manual and cant find anything about this "feature"!

 

Please, how do I turn this off (apart from ripping out the radio!!!).

Think radio has to be on whilst driving to keep you awake.

not really an answer, but if you turn the volume down to zero is it still quiet when you turn the car back on? Might shut it up at least
