I was wondering that, as if not, if i buy a car which i intend to keep off the road, id have to agree a price with the seller, then buy some road tax on it, in order to drive it home before then declaring it sworn and cashing the remaining roax tax in, loosing 1 months tax in the process. Sounds like a lot of hassle. Also just means when you buy a car now, you`ll always have the additional expense of having to get road tax, whereas 9/10 when ive bought a used vehicle its had tax on it already.
