M13KYF Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Took the Zed in for a MOT at Lockwood & Greenwood this morning. On the way the traffic was terrible and stuck in big jam on the M60. Noticed a quacking sound coming from the front of the car while not moving. Looked t the temp gauge and HOLY MOLY , it was off the scale. Cooling fans weren't working (the common fault). Typically you will only spot this when stuck in traffic. Got it over to the break down lane and crawled it along trying to get some air through. Luckily L&G isn't far from the motorway. Got it there. Phone call to Ewen at Clark Motorsport and ordered the Mishimoto cooling shroud kit Half the price against Nissan's motors. Should arrive at L&G tomorrow and then get it sorted. So the 'just a MOT' got to be a lot more. Great guys at L&G who couldn't do enough to get me sorted and big thanks to Ewen at Clarks for the speedy service Quote
