pop charger intake

Hi all,

 

Looking at buying one of these:

ive done a search on the forum, but just thought id ask the question anyway..

 

have many had these fitted, if so what are your personal opinions?

 

ive seen a lot of intake kits, weapon r, k&n, takeda etc these all seem to be around £100 more over the popcharger kit and I cant see how they can be worth the extra 100 notes. I know the performance hardly changes and depends on outside air temps etc but im used to a car running twin 42 throttle bodies so im missing the induction roar tbh so would like to make the zed sound a little more throaty.

 

thoughts please?

JWT stuff is top notch.

It was one of the most popular kits in the early days.

 

Other are more expensive as they generally have a hard pipe from filter to throttle body. Where as JWT is just plastic.

mine has the airflow sensor in the pipe just before the airbox, i take it these solid pipe versions come with a fitment in them for the maf?
