Plenum query

Hi

 

Still pretty new to the z world, so please forgive the silly questions

 

After vowing to keep things totally standard I've been reading about the need to fit a plenum spacer....

 

Can anyone tell me if just this on its own with a panel filter is worth the money, and what can I expect if anything in turns of gains?

There not too expencive so i would try it, ive got a plenium spacer but i fitted it with other bits aswell, so couldent tell you how different it feels on its own.

They're not expensive, and are a good basic "performance" mod to be added, but other than helping get more oxygen into the engine, you won't really feel much of a difference, it's subtle. With a remap and exhaust will help to get the most out of it.

Yes it's worth it IMO. It would give you more top end power a bhp or 2 if your lucky. But it gives a small increase in the mid range. Worth it IMO.
