Stiff, noisy Clutch peddle

H Guy's just took my mate's Zed out for a spin as he's worried about the clutch action. Compared to my Zed the peddle rough in operation and travel is very heavy any ideas?

Mine was noisy and stiff, until I gave the spring a liberal spray of white lithium grease. Took two applications a week apart, then nice and smooth.

The tricky bit is getting in the footwell upside down and not getting the grease everywhere or having a back spasm.

My clutch is doing my head in at the moment.

 

Lumpy and jumpy, hard to pull away too. Starting to wonder if I need a new one...
