As of the 22nd June 2013 all V55 must be sent to Swansea, instead of being processed at your local DVLA office. Apparently new registrations used to take 3-4 days, now they can take 14 working days. For the importer I use, this news came of the blue and has put a real strain on their business as all they do is import vehicles. Quote
