Nice! Can tell that makes a difference compared to mine. How are you finding the noise that everyone says there is with a SMF?

the chatter is more noticable once everything is warm and is quite load, it goes away once you are above 2000rpm. Gonna take a vid of it when i get a passenger next time

 

Can live with the noise though, always had a noisy gearbox anyways

Noise can be stopped if u just put foot In clutch pedal so only ever an issue for me when in traffic

My Exedy clutch and light weight flywheel arrived this morning from Alex, components and car now with my mechanic.

Hoping he can have her back to me before the weekend. Thanks for the video. Also tips on life with the light weight flywheel appreciated.

the noise for me is when you are pulling away in any gear from 1000 - 2000 rpm so dipping the clutch wont work I'll try and post a vid tomorrow of it

I also have the competition fly. Mines still breaking in at the moment but the chatter you get is hardly noticeable.

 

Obviously if you drive with the window up and no music playing you can hear it quite clearly. But the difference in gear changes makes up for it and thats coming from a person who hasnt took it over 3k

yeah i can live with it, as you say its not too bad considering the feel of the car. Was great on the roads to Orkney and back, wait until you really open her up
