NITRAC DISCS???

Has anyone had any experience with Nitrac discs...... They give a Lifetime warranty on Road...AND track use.....

 

Just happened to be looking at Black Diamond discs when i noticed them on Motorsportworld..

 

 

Pretty damn good price if they live up to the warranty.... £180 pair front £170 pair rear...

What do you mean warranty? As in they won't smash into a million peice or as in warp and wear out?

My bro used them before on his SC'd Celica, was sold on the hype of cryogenically treated discs and all, but after having run them for a couple of months, he lost faith in them.

Best stick to what is tried and tested, like DBA T3

I had them on my mini and they were awesome. I had Carbotech pads too and they were locking up at 90 with decent tyres and jcw calipers on track.

 

When I need some discs there's no doubt I'd get another set. Recommend 100%

 

Mine were also very good lasting even with an aggressive pad compound.

Agree DBA T3 are the babys to go for...... but just wanting a general road use set to cover winter.....

What mileage have your current discs done And are they OEM brembo disc. I took mine to Tophooker when I thought I needed discs, he skimmed them down for me and they are good as new. Saved me a lot of money.

 

Worth talking to him first if you are anywhere hear soham in Cambridge.

Thought about getting them skimmed, but really cant be bothered sourcing someone locally to me, as everything where i am is sky high in prices...rather get new and thats it done..... Cambridge is just a tad too far away from Banff to go.....
