Reverse Dipping Mirrors

I have read the mirrors on the Import dip when selecting reverse.

 

I have the folding mirrors, but they do not seem to dip. Is it something you have to set up or a common problem with them failing?

There's a button to right of steering maybe near tcs button can sometimes hit button by accident which stops them dipping,have a look

I only have a button for the rear fogs, you got a photo of said button?

It's only an option, not all cars have it. My first jam didn't but my current one does.

 

I think the button jumping is referring to is a small circular button to the left of TCS, which says 'auto' on it.

oooh ok thanks, thats where the button for my rear fog light is so I assume it didnt have that option then.

It could be a fuse problem as this happened to me recently too.

I think it was the second one from the outer corner.. Though I can't remember 100%.. But what I did was pull each one out and visually inspected.. And of course then replaced broken one.

Hello I had the same problem and then I found the “auto” button and it works again also if you put the mirror button to the right position and you use your key fob to lock the car your mirrors will fold in and when you start the car they will unfold hope this helps
