craig350z Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 hello people. ive just had a new head unit put in by halfords. i got all the wires they said and also got a booster as i read a thread saying the bose system may need it. i have sound from the front and the sub but nothing from the rear if i fade the sound to the back all i get is base from the sub. anyone know why ? spursmaddave Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Does you HU have F/R RCAs and sub? As said above could be settings if wired up correctly or could be wired up wrong or just have 1 set of RCA's what did Halfords say? Quote
EvansJD2112 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I would guess they have plugged the rear speakers into the sub out and because of a High Pass Filter, you're not hearing anything from rear speakers The sub is run from the rear speaker out Quote
craig350z Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 ummm it has two set of pre outs front and rear and thats it and couldnt see a pre out setting. ive got to wait a week to go back to halfords now as the other fitter is on holiday so ill show them this when i go back. thank you Quote
