benzed350 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 My gf's cooper s has developed an alarm problem. I think the battery has ran out in the fob. Doesn't seem to work at all. However you can stil lock the car with the key and the alarm seems to arm itself as the indicators flash. However when you unlock the car, it doesn't disarm, you get in and get out again very quickly due to the loud screaming noise in your ears. Any bright sparks got any ideas? Quote
KC350Z Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Does the alarm stop if you turn the ignition on after getting in also does it disarm if unlocked with key not thob had same with r5 turbo was battery getting low in thob would work most times but same problem new battery and all good would arm but not disarm Quote

benzed350 Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Yea it stops if you put the key in the ignition, but doesn't disarm on the fob or key in the door. I put a new battery in it that I got out of something else. I tried a reprogramming thing offline but it still won't have it. Quote
