benzed350 Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 My gf's cooper s has developed an alarm problem. I think the battery has ran out in the fob. Doesn't seem to work at all. However you can stil lock the car with the key and the alarm seems to arm itself as the indicators flash. However when you unlock the car, it doesn't disarm, you get in and get out again very quickly due to the loud screaming noise in your ears. Any bright sparks got any ideas? benzed350 Posted June 27, 2013 Author Share Posted June 27, 2013 Yea it stops if you put the key in the ignition, but doesn't disarm on the fob or key in the door.
